Accounts Assistant / Manager - MAY 2023

Dandy's is looking to recruit a new member to our team.

We are looking for an Accounts & Sales Assistant or an Accounts Manager.

We are open to discussing either option and rate of pay is negotiable depending on the role, hours and experience.

Applicants should have AAT Level 3 qualifications or equivalent.

Usual working hours are 8am until 5pm but we are open to considering a part-time position or an alternative structure which can be discussed at the interview stage.

Dandy's gives all employees 30 days paid annual leave each year (including bank holidays and at least a 1 week closure at Christmas), plus your birthday if it falls on a weekday. We also have a very successful monthly bonus scheme running.

Concrete Machine Operator - JUNE 2023

This is a manual labour role which involves heavy lifting.

You will be setting up concrete block moulds, pouring concrete, raking concrete, casting and de-moulding the blocks and taking apart the moulds. Full training on machine use will be given.

Machine maintenance is a key part of the job and you must perform daily checks and carry out daily cleaning, maintenance and greasing/oiling of machine and blocks.

Forklift licence is a must and any other machine operating licences would be beneficial. This is an outdoor, all weather position. Full PPE is supplied and you should be prepared to be working on a site that gets very muddy in wet weather and dusty when dry.

You should be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and you should be capable of hitting deadlines and meeting targets.

Working hours are 7am until 5pm, Monday to Friday with a one hour unpaid break and Saturdays on a rota system.

Annual leave is 30 days per year including bank holidays.

HGV CLASS 2 HIAB CRANE DRIVER - £13.05 ph - FILLED

Following the expansion of our fleet we are looking for a HIAB Crane Class 2 HGV driver.

You must have an up to date driver CPC card and Class 2 HGV licence. HIAB experience/licence is preferable but for the right person we will start you off on a tipper and provide training.

Normal working hours are 7am to 5pm but, during the busier times of year, earlier starts and finishes may be required in order to get all deliveries made on time (within legal driving and WTD laws).

During busy seasons you will be on a rota to work every other Saturday on a short day, usually up until 12 noon or 2pm.

Most deliveries are in and around Cheshire and North Wales, regular tipper work is available and we are expanding our local delivery zone into Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham.

Some lifting will be required.

You must be polite, able to work well on your own initiative and as part of a close team. Experience of home deliveries and a knowledge of the area would be advantageous though we supply sat navs and wagon 'phones.

SALES ASSISTANT - FILLED

Dandy's is looking to recruit a new member to our busy sales team.

We are heavily committed to providing excellent customer service whilst continuing to grow the business. A candidate with previous experience in telesales and/or counter sales would be ideal for this position, but full training will be given on processes and products.

As well as taking calls and serving at a busy sales counter, this role will involve following up on leads, after-sales customer care, and there is also opportunity for logistics planning for delivery vehicles and/or data entry and admin tasks.

Usual working hours are 8am until 5pm with a one hour paid lunch break - we are open to considering part-time or an alternative structure which can be discussed at the interview stage.

YARD PRODUCTION WORKER - FILLED

Dandy's is looking to recruit a new member to our busy production team.

We are heavily committed to providing excellent customer service whilst continuing to grow the business. A candidate with previous experience working on a production line, fork-lift driving or loadall operation would be ideal for this position. Experience is preferable on at least a forklift but training can be provided to the right candidate.

You will be packing products in our bagging shed so this is a role for an outdoor person who can comfortably lift a 25kg sack of product.

Usual working hours are 8am until 5pm with a one hour paid lunch break - we are open to considering part-time or an alternative structure which can be discussed at the interview stage.
